When a slave is brought in by its owner, said slave belongs to that person, and no one may contest the right of the Owner.

When a slave is brought in by a Slavers Guild caravan, they go through the Processing Center, where they are cleaned, examined, and go through trials to determine the level of their skills. Depending on the results, said slave might be sent to the Gold Mines for hard labor, to the Temple of Oblivion, serving the High Prelat or the monks and nuns, or yet again to serve the Temple itself. This is a dreaded fate, as rumors abound about blood sacrifices offered in the Temple. A slave may also be sold to a particular owner through presentations to customers organized at the Processing Center itself, or the Slavers Guild might decide to keep it for its own service, in one of their many businesses or for one of their members.
